New Rom Idea

I'm going to work on a new rom. Since most of everything after the 80s are covered one way or another, I'm going to do a rom of the 70s. There are 5 unique championship teams (BAL, PIT, OAK, CIN, NYY), and 3 unique WS losing teams (NYM, BOS, LA). That leaves 2 teams, since I never use the All Star Teams. Right now the front runners are KC and PHI who both won their divisions 3 straight years, but never won a playoff series. Other posibilities are division winners 70MIN, 71SF, 72DET, and 79CAL. [79CAL is probably out, because Reggie is already represented (prolly twice in this rom alone) enough in RBI form.]

I took a quick look at the teams, and the worst team will probably be the '73 Mets, who has no hitting. I may have to do an RBI-style year switching (Staub & Mays get upgraded to better seasons).

On another note, I thought of redoing the original rom. I thought of replacing the All Star teams & the weaker teams (HOU &/or ). I'd put in other mid 80s teams, like  two champs '85KC & '88LA and maybe other strong teams like '88OAK, or '85 TOR?

Great idea Marquis, and I think you should use Philly and KC as your other teams.  They were obviously great teams by winning so many divison titles...  Both of them finally got over the hump in 1980 where they met in the World Series...
