I'm telling you, this turd has been nothing but clutch for me in the last week.  I was down 10-2 against a friend who was using Detroit in the fourth inning.  I didn't begin the comeback until the sixth.  Needless to say, I was nervous every time he had a base runner since he had the bottom half of the innings.  Grich hit two clutch homers in the late innings, and singled in the top of the ninth with 1 out and one run down.  The Schofield Kid popped out.  I then proceeded to sub Burleson in for a struggling Wilfong since I knew my opponent would only hit the outside corner with a left handed Hernandez.  Burleson hits a two run dong and gives Hernandez a pair of chin nuts.  The five run 9th gives me an 11-10 lead that holds.

I owe this huge victory to Bob Grich and his clutch performance.  I was really in deep shit to a less than formidable opponent.  Thanks Bob!

My recent forays into St. Louis have made me truly appreciate how terrible Pettis is.  Vince Coleman is 10x the player of Pettis...
