Gantry, would a page for the history of the forums fit in nicely?  Nothing crazy, perhaps just chronological according to dates that people signed up and the beginning of a few legendary threads.

Legendary threads.  Maybe you could just make a "Hall of Fame" of sorts for threads that have reached a certain post count.  That would be nifty!
