Rules/Guidlines/Info

1) I won't have a team, so I will simulate most of the games (if you want to simulate a game, let me know)

2) The statistics tracked will count for awards and are intended to make everyone aware of the top players and which team they are on.

3) Each Owner has 24 hours to provide his pick in the draft

4) Games will be simulated in order of their day (this will make more sense when the schedule is posted)

5a) You may change your lineup, as long as it is submitted before the next day - you must also make the changes to the ROM yourself - you MUST let the simulator of the game know what is going on if you choose to change your lineup.

5b) Bench Players may not be put in the regular lineup, and the only pitching change you may do is to switch relief pitchers.  You can't touch your starters.  Bench Players may be switched, but only within the PH category.

vgp100 proposed the idea of picking 2 players at a time in the draft - after the 4th round

I'll let the group decide this one.

JimmyRice-can I make a recommendation that SB's be counted as well?  Small ball!  It looks like runs, homers, hits, doubles and triples are all awarded points.  Why not stolen bases?  I think it makes sense.  Gimme some feedback.

Those aren't for points; just stats for fun I guess.  Wins determine the winners, but I'll throw SBs with the stats as well; they aren't too hard to track.

Maybe a points-system will be useful for an MVP/Cy Young awardee... We can avoid that OBP/AVG debate simply - I'm not keeping track of every player's every at-bat.

Some of the stuff looks like it will count for your ranking, but it is all determined by your W-L record.

Most of the stuff on this thread are intended to inform - if you want to move some guys around in your lineup...
