Dee-Nee House games for 1/17

Potsie stopped by and we finally got some RBI in.  The more things change, the more they stay the same:

Potsie (SF) - 6

Seven inning slaughter, Pots was definitely rusty.  The hero was Jack Clark, with a Grand Slam and 9 RBIs...

I took a calculated risk and brought Steve Lake in with the bases loaded, hoping to add another entry to the Potsie Hall of Shame.  But alas, Steve Lake does what he always does, popup to the pitcher...

Game two, aka Bob Boone is a sack of garbage!!!

Up 7-0 after seven batters, I decided to let Boone actually play a game for me.  A few TERRIBLE ABs later I lose 18-17 in the bottom of the 9th.  Bob Boone is a complete piece of shit, that is all...

Impressive piss n' vingar from me.  Bob Boone definitely didn't work out....

We might have played one more, can't remember.  Too many Old Milwaukee Lights.  Will have to ask Potsie when he wakes up..

Just checked the TV, apparently I won the last game 15-7.  Details are light...

7 hits and 7 homers for Potsie though, very impressive...

Hey, it's all about the stance....you can't just expect Daddy Boone to hit well at just any ol' place in the box. The time I hit 4 HRs with him in one game I had him like this... I moved to the top right of the box immediately then backed him left and down just a tiny bit. For some odd reason he was on fire that game as Baines can vouge for me. Maybe it had something to do with him being fired from the Reds? I suspect some higher powers at work here with the RBI Gods.

Boone gets no more chances after his last outburst.  Only if I'm playing a scrub...  

Perhaps I'll give Son of a Grich a chance soon...

I do have to back Sal Bando on this one but it's the craziest thing I've ever seen.  I personally hadn't seen the slightest hint of production from Boone on RBI from 1987 until summer of 2003.  All of a sudden he goes for 4 against me and he's been on a tear ever since.  It still doesn't make sense to me but he's become a legitimate token threat whenever we play.
