so i just got the poster that comes with rbi signed by jose "the weapon" oquendo. because his autograph is semi small and off to the side, it's hard to feature the poster in my house as signed by oquendo. do i try to get a bunch of rbi guys to sign it? if so do i go for one from each team or just select guys that i like or clutch bench guys or what? i need help and figured this was the place to turn.

i know there are doubters of the weapon's skills, but i stand by him as being super clutch. he's hit many a game winning HR for me...he was confused about signing the poster because he doesn't know what rbi is.

That's quality Wilfong, where did Oquendo sign the poster?

I say get as many RBI'ers as possible.  I think it's gonna be tough to get a lot anyway, unless you are some sort of MLB veteran's committee whore...  Not that there's anything wrong with it...

Man of Steal

I say you aim for the all-subs poster.  Makes it not only more challenging, but more bizarre when you're featured on some TV show for video game nerds in the future.

"And THIS is my poster, autographed by every living player who was a substitute in RBI Baseball."

Go for the all-Cardinals poster. Of course I'm biased ...

An all Cardinals poster would be great, but very difficult. I guess the dee-nee population thinks I should get as many as possible, so I'll go with that. The problem is, the next easiest guy for me to get is Bill Schroeder. If I just end up with Schroeder and Oquendo, that really devalues Oquendo's signature. So I'd have to make sure that I got a few guys...Brenly does Cubs games, hopefully that wouldn't be too difficult.

I interned for the Brewers, so I used my Miller Park connections to get him to sign in with the Cards in town this week. He signed it just below the MLB logo. Isn't that a lame spot to sign it?

Anyone else have ideas of where I can get others to sign? I'm in Milwaukee, so I guess I can hope to catch coaches/broadcasters when they come through town.

I think whoring is your best bet...

so there's a chance i could pitch this idea to the people who televise the brewers games or to their mlb writer. it would be a gimmick that Schroeder is in the game and that the game has a huge following, etc... then they could get the poster signed by all the people the come across at the games. is that cheating? it would make for an interesting story and would give dee-nee more publicity - but is it publicity you want? let me know what you think (especially gantry).

who voted for oquendo being a god? you're a wise man whoever you are.

I'm for for any and all publicity...
