Actually, that link in the top post is "live," meaning that whenever I make edits to the teams, it gets reflected in the roster sheet...I'm still using my web-based editor that we all used for the 1987 ROM.

Turd

Not getting much feedback, so I think I'll officialize it soon, with a possible update mid-season...

sorry i didn't respond earlier.  scioscia does use some different lineups, but i think this reflects the best options:

Perfect! thanks my good man.  I'm thinking of something for next year that will help make this whole thing easier...I'll give people access to the editor somehow to either note or actually make lineup changes there (without actually changing the ratings, cause that's my job), discuss the current lineup by posting comments, and whateer else I can think of.  I just implemented drag and drop lineup ordering, and it's SOOOOO much nicer than the old way I did it...

TempoGL

the white sox don't have a third baseman in their lineup.  this order is close to accurate (given the lack of DH)

Hi there

I have been gone for a while.  Do you know if you could put Lance Berkman on the Cardinals and drop Brenden Ryan?

Also is the 30 team editor available for everyone?  If so, where can I find it?

Luke

Turd

Are you suggesting Berkman for the official ROM? I can make that happen...editor isn't really available, I just edit it using my web-based one, but it only edits my official ROM, it doesn't work for multiple ROMs...

I'm finalizing this probably end of this weekend...been working a little on a league site...

I've decided that I don't want to put in too much effort to run a fancy league, as much as I think it'd be fun, it's wasteful to spend that much time when I can't guarantee people will play their games, so we're going to play meatspin style.

Not the transvestite swirling its junk around, but the meatspin the tecmo league, where the schedule was put out, and anyone could play any game on that schedule, so you weren't waiting for slackers.  People with the most games in at the end move to the post-season...

Stock

Is this final yet?
I'd like to run the stats through my program and summarize and/guess which teams will be the best.

Is the rom on nightwulf's editor?
If so, I can download from there.  What's the rom name?

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

Turd

It's pretty final...I'l make tweaks maybe midseason...it's not on nightwulf's editor, his editor is only for the 10-team ROM.  You can download it from http://www.rbibaseball.us

Have only looked at offenses so far.

Here is what the "average rankings" look like from top to bottom (no PH bonus considerations).

This is how I would rank the teams from top to bottom.
This takes into consideration several factors such as bench utilization and PH bonuses among usage.  Gives a slight advantage to lefties (rbi hole + quicker run times to first + dbl play avoidance), and assumes a 60% contact factor (which may be low for ATG), meaning 60% of fair balls not hit on the sweet spot.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, my good man...

Turd

After playing a bunch of games on my replay season, I think I might ahve to do an increase on pitcher speeds across the board, as the pitches seem too slow. Anyone else who played it notice this, or am I just being too picky with my ratings?

Turd

I decided to change my plan a bit this year and actually assign each team an error rating.  I also tweaked a few uniforms, and added a version number so that people know what version they are using.  So, with that said, version 1.1 is available on rbibaseball.us.  Enjoy...

Turd

Also added juiced download version as well...
