Just heard Rod Carew on a talk radio show.  He was talking about the art of hitting.  He said, "I once knew a player that was always trying to do too much with the ball.  He could have been a .300 hitter every year if he had just stayed within himself."
The host asked who he was talking about.
Rod responded, "Gary Pettis."
I will be drinking now.

No mclane you idiot.  Obviously I do not speak German or listen to German radio though I did this weekend some cause American radio was out but it was all eminem.  Actually, everyday I listen to a show called sports overnight america with matt johnson.  Dude sucks but it's all I got.  Some other show comes on occasionally, not sure what, and that is what Carew was on.  Sports Byline i think.
