There was a lot of hype surronding this game, and for once the game exceeded the hype...

Game Summary:

Tom Brunansky hit a line drive, two-run home run in the top of the 10th inning to vault the Nimrods over Da ShitPaws 18-16 in a memorable Fantasy RBI League season opener for both teams. Brunansky also added a three-run home run as part of a four-run first inning for the Nimrods.

Much of the Nimrods' power came from an unexpected source, as leadoff hitter Gary Gaetti went 4 for 6 with three home runs and eight RBI. Andre Dawson had two home runs while Phil Garner added a solo shot in the fourth inning.

Brunansky's extra inning blast ruined the heroics of Da ShitPaw's Mark McGwire, who hit a massive 548 ft. bomb with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to score three runs and send the game into extra inning. McGwire finished with three home runs and seven RBI, while his teammate Tony Armas added three home runs and five RBI.

Poor baserunning plagued Da Shitpaws, as they had a runner thrown out trying to score on a base hit in two of the first three innings.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

what a close game

look at the line -- the only difference is that i had 2 more triples and 1 less homer, but i guess that homer was pretty big

The crazy thing is being tied after 7, both scoring 4 in the 8th and 3 in the 9th.  I think havind Santana and Owen may have hurt you.

Getting two guys gunned down at the plate really hurt Da ShitPaws. Poor job by the third base coach!!!

This may be the funniest double play ever.  Good thing the guy dropped the ball, or there'd be only one out!
