He is in both the NES and Arcade versions, came up as a Catcher in 1976 and finished his career with the Rockies in 1993.  He won 2 NL HR titles.

I know this one, but I'll let someone else take a shot at it.
I ain't no god damn son of a bitch
You better think about it baby

Gantry

Don't think it's right but for some reason I thought he was a catcher - Dale Murphy?

ultimate7

Correct, Dale Murphy nice work Gantry and Defen, maybe I need to start making them harder.  Man Defen you are a machine, both times in almost no time and I didn't even notice you being on Dee-Nee at the time.

These questions are too easy.  ULTIMATE YOU SUCK!

Every male our age who collected bball cards as a kid knows that Dale Murphy came up as a catcher...and no, smart-asses, I'm not so old that I remember his rookie card coming out (1976).  He was a prime time player in my youth, so I had his RC!   :D

Well shit, maybe I'm a cheater AND a liar...'cause if you're profile is right, I am an old fart compared to your 23.

...although my wife is 25, if that makes my 31 any younger?

But a lot of players came up as catchers (it could have been Gary Carter).  I didn't remember Murphy playing with Colorado, I thought that might be tricky.

What gave it away to me was the fact that you said both RBI and Arcade, and Murph was the first one in mind.

True, but if the player was known for being a C, you probably wouldn't bother to point that out...at least that's how I took it...

I love how defen gets credit for being an RBI genious without actually answering the question.  America, Fuck yeah!

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
