chipper jones had a great rookie year. i'll use him every time off the bench for the grinch.

I am speechless.  I am without speech.

easy now joe, that was posted by a guy who i claimed looked like a cross between ray liotta and rambo.   im still not sure how i came up with that but i swear if liotta and rambo had a kid, you'd have steve katz.

I was gonna post the same...But there's no way he wasn't joking.

No way...Especially as a Met fan, I think he has a fair amount of knowledge about Chipper, and Larry's daughter Shea.

I had to assume this was a joke, still have to assume it.

I think Spillman is effective in straight pitch. He went deep 3 times for me yesterday (along with J Leonard's 3 bombs). He's mortal against lefties though, much like Wilfong. I'd say they're almost the same player.

My top PHs vary on the situation, but for an entire game I'd go with:

1. Rupert
2. Bush
3. Armas
4. Teufel
5. Madlock

I might give Sheridan a closer look next time I'm Det though.

Bush and Teufel? There both solid at best.

Bush is dominant for me in the leaoff spot for the twinkies. I think a few other people use him a lot too. Teufel is probably the second best power option for me with the Mets (Carter does absolutely nothing for me - he's the most overrated player in the game). Teufel is good for at last 2 bombs a game plus a few base hits.

I decided to take you guys' advice and use Spilman rather than Speier or Aldrete, with horrid consequences.  Three at bats, three double play balls (2 were inning ending double plays, and the other would have been had there not been two outs).  Definitely a bad choice on my part.  I may have to officially retire Spillman from my repertoire forever.

that's not cause spillman sucks...it's because I OWN YOU IN RBI!

also, your statement in bold is incredibly obvious.  all double play balls are inning-ending, unless there are no outs.

It should also be noted that all triple plays are inning-ending, in case anyone is confused.

...only if they happen in the bottome half of the inning though.

And of course double plays NEVER happen with nobody out...

read your sentence again.  what is the point of adding "and the other would have been had there not been two outs"?

My point was that it was a puss-ily hit ball to the 2b; hence, Spilman is ass.

TempoGL

and my point is that i gave you a sound drubbing.  with your own team, no less....HI-YO!
