arcade glitch?

I killed one with Babe, down to 1st base which bounced off teh 1B(BOP!) and rolled back towards home plate...the 1B ran off towards the dug out by 1B and the right fielder had to come all the way into the infield to field the ball.  i think it musta hit the guy in the head and he didnt know where/who he was.

i also hit one with Marris to Right center out of the stadium and the camera panned back as far as it could go, then i saw a shadow drop , then a second later another shadow dropped and the ball appeared for a second.....longest/highest/most towering shot i ever hit...was in Roger's 1st at bat with the power up so that prolly helped.  All you could see on the screen was the light pole and just a smidge of the stands...it was an ENORMOUS BLAST!

has anyone ever seen a shot to dead center that you didnt see the ball come down?  ive seen mcguire come close a time or 2.

What you are playing has NES gameplay, so it wouldn't be an arcade glitch per se.  I have seen that situation where the 1B runs past after a BOP and you will see somewhat unusal things with the higher power numbers than the NES has.  On my Arcade machine I have seen balls popped up buy Kingman (PH bonus, max power) that went so high the machine couldn't go to the next note higher and instead made a buzzing noise.

I hit a similar HR with Adcock on an actual arcade machine, twas most impressive.  That too was with the pinch hit bonus...
