COTUT brackets

Wow, I got a tough draw.  The 2002 Champion (my first round opponent) and the 2002 and 2003 runner-up (Beales) are both in my quarter of the bracket.

My prediction... JoeDirt won't win it all.  Anytime anybody makes a prediction on the forums, it ends up turning into a curse.  Freedman and I were the favorites in the 2nd COTUT and Foster came back to destroy us both.

JoeDirt's in the toughest session (bottom half) without question.  Take a look at those players... you got reps from Tennessee, Ohio, Minnesota, and Arkansas.  And if that isn't enough, you got the current champion of the universe in there as well.  Then, who knows how good Podgorski and Wojo are.  That session is going to be a battle to the death.  That's all I can say.

im glad im in the easy bracket (as people are saying).  ha, im hoping riley doesnt show up so if i beat kaz then i get to play the 'bye.'  i have no idea what kind of people are in this tournament. i was lucky in the 2nd cotut...the people in this one are probably far better than the last.

Just wondering, are you guys sticking to a strict training regimen or anything?

I have gotten to play a lot more than I had in the past 4-5 years, but I still haven't played all that much to prepare.   Also keep meaning to study the data, but haven't really done that either.

Between mid January to late April I played at least a couple games every day.  But I have only played a few times since then, so I'm really out of sync right now.  Plan to get back to my daily games very shortly.
