Fantasy League ROM and schedule

OK, based on everyone's line-ups sent to me, I've created a Spring Training roster with all eight teams as well as Team Suck and Team Blow. Feel free to download this ROM to play practice games, either solo or against someone else online.

And I've worked out the roster for this season. I realized that one game a week per team is going to be all I really have time to simulate, so we'll stretch it out over a 14 week season. Playoff schedules will be set later in the season. And yes, we will have All-Star voting before the break, and simulate an All-Star game.

So I would like to try and get games started next week. All rosters must be set and sent to me before Monday morning at 9 a.m. Pacific in order to be eligible for that week's games. Any trades made after that will take effect the following week. If you do not get a roster to me, I will assume that your line-up is the same. (Basically, if you don't make any changes, you don't have to send me the line-up again week after week).

So, I know it's possible for up to three other people to watch a game if I simulate it on the Dee-Nee server using FCE Ultra. Would you guys be interested in watching the games being played. If so, I'll simulate them over the server, and let you guys know when they are being played; if not, then I don't have to worry about that.

The Fighting Tony Danzas is an acceptable name - I'll make sure it's changed on the ROM before the first week of the regular season. I would assume that like Tony from "Who's The Boss", you would want to be a former St. Louis Cardinal?

why do Sp and Cp have apostrophes under the S and C?  (just curious - I've never seen this before)

can we fix the rom so there is no 10-run rule or is everyone more comfortable having it?

There's gotta be a 10 run rule...it isn't RBI Baseball without it.

My feeling is that if you are down 10 runs you don't deserve to win, and usually the only reason you come back is because the CPU leaves the exhausted starter in until it's down to a 2 or 3 run deficit.  I say keep the 10 run rule.

I'm with McLane and Ultimate on this one.  10-run rule is part of RBI.  Plus, for the sake of fightonusc's sanity, it'll keep games shorter.

I don't know why it keeps adding the odd marks to certain screen names. I go in, and it doesn't show in the editor, but then it's on the ROM. I'll look at it again when I create the ROM for next week's games.

I'm keeping the 10-run rule. It's part of RBI and it does factor into some strategy of how you set your teams up.
