What do you guys think of this.  Is it a record.

Thanks to Gantry

Are some teams more pics of my mom nakede to making errors?

In fact they are. When a player is about to catch a ball (either a grounder or flyball), a bunch of calculations are performed to determine if you are going to make an error. When all is said and done, each teams chance of making an error are the following:

   * California: 3.9%
   * Boston: 2.7%
   * Detroit: 4.7%
   * Minnesota: 3.9%
   * Houston: 3.1%
   * New York: 4.3%
   * St. Louis: 4.3%
   * San Francisco: 3.5%
   * American: 2.3%
   * National: 1.6%

Thanks to RBI technical guru nightwulf for figuring this out. These are the real numbers folks, we aren't making them up. So those of you who though Detroit made more BOPs, you were right. Though keep in mind these percentages are so low that they mean at most one BOP per game on average...

How do you explain the 5 errors in this game?  Is this a one in a million game?  Its on the original ROM.

The italicised part is a quote I found on Foley Board.

Cali would typically give up 1.4 errors in that situation.  You are 357% over that average, that qualifies as a Dah Nah...

Error calculation is still subject to random number generation. The percentages you listed are merely the odds of a fielding error. I'd love to tell you the actual odds of making 5 errors in a game, but it would depend both on which team you're playing as, and how many "BOP-eligible" plays you made during the course of the entire game.

Note also that throwing errors (when the ball goes past the intended baseman and hits a wall) are not governed by the same routine that determines fielding errors (BOPs). The above percentages are the chances of making a fielding error only.

Evidently whichever board is recopying information from the Dee-Nee FAQ censors "pron" and replaces it with "pics of my mom naked". How clever!

That is pretty clever...  But I'm a bit confused, what forum is copying information from the RBI FAQ?  One of the online league boards?

I have 8.
Pictures?

As far as BOPs go, I've seen 3 in one inning, can't remember the most I've seen in one game, I think I've seen more than 5.
