GDavis was talking about a Burritoville in NYC, which "probably" has 0 relevance to the NIU Burritoville.  I just felt like making the fun comparison...

Yeah, Burritoville is a local NYC chain.  Their website www.burritoville.com makes no mention of an Illinois location.

My original contention was that Taco Bell is awful mexican food.  This was based on comparisons to other mexican restaurants I frequent such as Burritoville and San Loco.  As you have never frequented these restaurants, you have no basis to argue with my statement, just as I can't argue with you about your favorite steakhouse, seafood joint, or Italian restaurant.

There is no comparison between Burritoville and Taco Bell.  The mere fact that you and your buds even argue that TB and Burritoville are even remotely close to the same level, automatically disqualifies your San Loco joint as a viable option to compete with Taco Bell.

I don't understand this statement at all.  Me and my buds argue between Burritoville and San Loco.  We don't ever add TB to the argument because it's obviously inferior, and no one that's been to all 3 places would ever choose TB as their favorite.  Your checkmate statement is flawed.  It seems like you're trying to move your rook diagonally.

Hey GDavis, I'm a fellow NYCer. Burritoville in NYC is real good food, & shouldn't be named in the same breath as Taco Bell.

I try to stay away from all kinds of fast food, esp. the big chains. Although when I do get a craving I head over to Sassy's on 86th & 3rd. It's serves White Castle size burgers but without the nasty WC meat. The fries there are pretty nice - lots of variety, garlic fries, sweet potatoe etc. Although the two best big burger places I've found is Jackson Hole & Cozy Soup & Burger (7th & B'Way).

Marquis, I do agree that chain resaturants suck ass. I get chills when people like to go to the Olive Garden for Italian food.

...If everyone agrees to the stat model, just add up your points and send them to this post.  I'll update the dee-nee vs dah nah thread to reflect your stats.  Please try to use the honor system.  Keep in mind that anything can be changed and I'm sure this won't be the only version of this rom.  Who knows, maybe we'll make a trade for lips.

Also, the stats for pitchers should be the same as well.  This rom will just have some good hitting pitchers.  As for the pitching stats, I have no idea....

Actually, we never had a debate on Ty.  We just had differing opinions.  We both agreed that Ty was the better player and that Jay Bell sucked.  I just just thought that Bell would open the season as the starter and you the opposite.  Almost though.  :-)

this thread is quite weighty...i didnt notice all the postings before....i would love to debate someone about something....so just fire a topic at me...i also didnt see the revised charts....i think i had 2 postings from way back when with 20 responses...and i have 228 posts...so i think im at a 32 point area...and for a pitcher...im not sure where that leaves me......iregardless...lets quabble....
