Okay, you have me convinced to have a straight 16 round draft with 16 mil going to No. 1 and so on... ...then lets make the cap 150 million and allow for 4 additional inactive players, or the ability for teams to add/dump salary via trades going into next year... ...each team can assign 4 players to 4 yr contracts, 4 to 3 yr contracts, 4 to 2 year deals and 4 to 1 yr deals... ...those can be assigned at the end of the draft.. ..undrafted players can only be signed to one year deals via the bidding war senerio.
