Why you would leave a guy in when he's throwing 37mph is beyond me, but it worked for Clemens.  Everything that was hit was either right to the fielder or a deep flyball.  
Bringing in Reuschell clearly killed VG, but they mounted a small comeback in the 7th and 8th with 2 inconsequential homereuns.  

The story was pitching - GD used one, VG used 4.  Of course, all those homeruns helped as well.
