We need to spark some more good ol'fashion RBI chatter.

Do you support the "start an RP" theory, like your boy Attezz?  If so, why?

I don't really understand why.  So, why?

starting the RP usually depends on teams and situations.  I love to start Kerfeld with HOU.

If the bottom 3 of a team is weak, then it can be a good idea to start a RP, and possibly get 3 innings(on a good day outta them).

Here's my take:

If you are playing 2 SP, then it just never makes sense to me.  If you start Kerfield and try to stretch him to 3 innings, then you've likely pitched 1 inning with less than acceptable stuff and at the same time, you've limited your 2 SPs, who both have better stuff than Kerfield, to an average of 3 innings each.  That's just not efficient.

If you are playing 1 SP, I suppose it makes a little more sense, but I still do not agree with it.  There are times when your SP can carry you well into/past the 7th inning.  But again, if you try to stretch Kerfield into 3 innings, then you're limiting your SP to the 6 innings.
