Since I voted "tonight" I'm pretty sure it's impossible for me to be wrong.

(Unless of course it happens during the day)

erhajj

Which of course means it will happen tommorow.  Billy Bean told me so.

moses

I am determined it will be tonight.

erhajj

Has anyone been coaching you or is TBT just mocking your attempts?

moses

No he has been helping a little. He sent me a worksheet that i have not looked at. Mostly because i am afraid it will read like stereo instructions. I looked it over once when i was at his house.

But he has also been leaving harrassing and threatening phone calls...

Here is a tip.  Take the first pitch of every at bat the first time through the order.  That way the other pitcher will wear down and he will be very hittable the second time through the order.

There are two things stopping me from winning.

1. Pop flies and foul balls. I am getting better but i seem to get a lot of outs this way.

2. When i hit a pop fly and it is caught; the guy who was on first has now made it to second, and I cannot get him to return to first base. causing two outs on one play. This type of thing makes me want to break the game.

One thing for sure is i am glad i do not have a potty mouth jar right now. My daughter came from the bedroom shaking her head. Mommy that is a bad word, you are not suppose to say that.

on the pop ups you are going to ahve to have the runner retreat before he reaches the next base.

You just have to master the timing in order to avoid those pop ups.  It is just a matter of practice.

I played RBI until 2 am. I think i know what I am doing wrong and yet i cannot stop doing it.

When I am up to bat and go to swing i am pushing the controller/directional pad towards the ball. Instead of standing still. Could this possibly be why i keep hitting fouls and pop flies?  If so I may be fucked if i cannot get control over my fingers.

The scores are getting better the computer has only beat me by one or two points every game.

I also came to the conclusion the computer is not going to let me win. EVER!

That probably doesn't hurt too much, but I'd guess it does affect things some - since you're moving forward, the ball will be further back in comparison to your player, and you'll hit the ball to the opposite field (a guy standing on the right side of the plate hitting it to the left, for example).  Hits that direction tend to be weaker.  Some people here like to do the opposite - move back as you swing.  It doesn't work well if the pitch is curving, but it's been said to work well for straight pitches.

What team are you using and playing against?  The best teams are Na, Dt, and maybe Ca, while the easiest opponent is Ho.

I have been mainly sticking with Detroit. I have been playing MN a lot and Houston. Last night though i really thought i was gonna win playing CA the score was 5-0 until the 7th inning when on of their players hit a homerun. This caused me to lose spirit and they scored on me a few more times.

ending score 6-8. Bastards.
