moses...that problem really more depends on where your batter starts off in the box to say whether it is producing the fouls/pop ups.  I am sorry that I am speaking poorly of your parenting skills when I say this.

also are you moving in compliance with where your pitcher is standing on the mound.  if he moves towards the outside part of the plate on the rubber, then crowd the plate.

if he moves towards the inside part of the plate on the mound, then your batter needs to back off the plate a bit.  your more likely to get the fat part of the bat on the ball and not get jammed that way.

Yes I am doing everything you told me. I have also gotten used to not letting the little guy get all the way to second on a pop fly. This has caused less outs as well.

Joe Dirt I still like you even if you are talking about my poor parenting skills.  I am usually positioned a little behind the plate and like tbt said depending on where the pitcher is, is how close i get.

Also, maybe this is too technical of a point, but TBT's advice blows.  You can't really say that on an inside pitch you have to back the batter up--again, it depends on where the batter starts in the box.

Thanks teddy this actually worked. I just about beat the game last night when bitch ran across the game and fucked it all up. I almost killed her. 11 to 4 in the 7th innning game ruined.
