Finally removed the recently retired Cal Ripken, Tony Gwynn, and Mark McGwire from the list of active RBI'ers. Updated both the FAQ and Where are they now? pages...

Added some new socials to the Drinking Game, including their glossary definitions - Computer Assistance and Statue of Liberty. And since George Brett did not bat righty in real life, he has become A Glitch...

Took the January updates off the main page. Check The Archives for the older stuff...

Part 2?  RBI III?  Playing those inferior games would be absurd.  I only play the original.

Although the later versions of RBI have more teams, options  and the like, I find it loses the overall feel of the original.  The gameplay is just not the same in parts 2&3, so I stick to the original...

fat people rule... playing with those stick figures in 2 and 3 is weak...   its all about fat bastards rapping a laser around the foul pole.   it doesnt get any better than that.

Give it a shot and let us know what you think.  Although we all probably started with the original, so starting from part III and going back to the original might be a step backwards for you.  Defintiely play with a friend, as single player mode sucks...

And feel free to join the board....

dont forget that the music for the first one is classic.  the second and third versions changed too many aspects of the game and therefore, ruined a good thing.
