Just the cure for a two game losing streak. I get to play the Royals of the Stock league.

I don't think Stock is worthy of my straight pitch RBI time come July.  It would be a massacre.

Challenge accepted.
I actually feel bad that I cannot play for shit with your drafted team.

As you should.  Fucking start winning with my team!
Here's your ball!

hey Stack, it seems like you're having a hard time getting Mookie on base at lead-off

did you say we will have an opportunity for line-up changes?
Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

Yep, after weak 9 is complete (1/4 through the season), anyone can make line-up changes.

Lesson #1 learned from the first quarter of the season - fast guys with no power suck.  Why the fuck did I draft Gary Pettis?  Thank god I didn't bat him leadoff, I probably wouldn't have that win over Rack...

Maybe spoke too soon?

Week 7
Pettis:  4/9, 2 HR, 3B, 3 RBI in 54-40 victory.
IMO, Pettis was the worst pick in the entire draft.  So he is actually outperforming my expectations.

Ozzie Smith has not one, but two home runs thank you very much. I believe he was the second worst power hitter to be drafted (behind Gwynn).

Also, I'd like to send out a personal fuck you to my team for the pisspoor performances of late. Dawson has been producing, but who else?

Mr. Blubbo

Jesus, the Racktacular Nation with 38 runs?!  How do you go from 7 runs in the last 3 games (or something like that) to 38 in one game?  However, you do it...keep it up.

I think you may have forgotten that Nokes was picked in the 2nd round.  Holy shit that joke is never gonna get old.

Yeah, I don't see how Pettis at the end of the 8th was the work pick.  Look how early players with similar stats were taken - fuck Mookie Wilson is the same player and he was taken a round and a half before.  Ozzie Smith was taken at the beginning of the 7th.  Matt Nokes was drafted in the second round.  I demand how you figure that Mookie Wilson 14 picks earlier was a better pick (no offense BigHath) or apologize to me immediately...

You didn't list his stats...

54 runs in 8 innings, BOOYAH!  Is that the high this year?  Yes, I'm too lazy to look...

GDavis

The Nokes pick was worse than the Chargers taking Ryan Leaf.

GDavis

The Nokes pick was worse than the Trail Blazers taking Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan

I think I had 54 in 9 innings around week 2, so yours was slightly more impressive.

Matt Nokes could become a running joke alongside the likes of wumpst and aviator if it keeps up like this.

EDIT: Actually, it was 51 runs. So the Poopybutts were very impressive in their beatdown.
