Changing pitchers

I'm a noob at RBI on the computer, and I can't figure out how to change pitchers. I've tried all possible combinations of Start, Select, A, and B, but nothing seems to bring up the dialog. I start getting killed around the 4th-5th inning, and I end up quitting the game. I'm using Nesticle as the emulator. Anyone know how to do this?

If you are playing 2 player only player one can press start to pause the game, once the game is paused hit A (or is it B) to bring up the pithcer change screen.

be sure you've configured the keyboard buttons correctly, but i assume you already have.  are you playing two players on one keyboard?  or do you have two gamepads?
