The lists were in yesterday's paper and I circled all the NES RBIers, I think there were 22 in total, this post is to remind me to post them.

Other Notes, Nolan Ryan was one of I believe 2 players (Frank Robinson the other) to be a Hero for 2 different teams (Astros and Rangers)

The Yankees, Cubs, Reds, Redsox, and Dodgers had all 5 of their players were all Arcade RBIers.

Beginning the list from Memory, to be added to later when I get home to get the Newspaper:

Harold Baines (WhiteSox)
Kirby Puckett (Twins)
Kent Hrbek (Twins)
Ryne Sandberg (Cubs)
Alan Trammell (Tigers)
Don Baylor (Angels)
Ozzie Smith (Cards)
Nolan Ryan (Astros and Rangers)
Wade Boggs (DevilRays)
Roger Clemens (RedSox)
Jim Rice (RedSox)
Andres Galarraga (Rockies)
Gary Carter (Nationals)
John Franco (Mets)
Tony Gwynn (Padres)
Reggie Jackson (A's)
Cal Ripken (Orioles)
Paul Molitor (Brewers)
Daryl Strawberry (Mets)
Mike Schmidt (Phillies)
George Brett (Royals)
Bret Saberhagen (Royals)

Wow I may have just remember them all

Are the D-Backs really so bad that they have Todd Stottlemyre on their list?

ultimate7

I have no idea how niether Dawson nor Raines made it for the Expos/Nationals.

Big Hath

Murphy didn't make the Braves' list

Eddie Mathews didn't either (but he wasn't on the NES version)

couldn't believe both of these were omitted

I was shocked about Mathews, didn't even think of Murphy, the decided to go with current players instead, which is weak.  Murphy>Chipper

These lists suck.

George Bell needs to be on the Jays list.

fightonusc

Shouldn't Nando be on the list, since Los Angeles is now part of Mexico?

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Attezz

I love how all five of the Dodgers choices are from the 50's/early 60's.

I'm disappointed Joe Jackson didn't make the White Sox list.

Was he from Chicago?

I believe the list is guys from the same town where they played.

BeefMaster

Nope - the only Twin on the list who's from the Twin Cities is Hrbek (he's actually from the suburb of Bloomington, although the Twins played there when he was born).  Puckett is from Chicago, and I don't know where Carew, Killebrew, and Oliva are from.

Also, Rod Carew and Nolan Ryan are on two lists.

Dawson and Gary Carter were the expos. . . . til Raines came along.

TβG

yes, i'm going to have to agree with shooty and others who are aware that the lists suck.  the angels left brian downing off the list as well as jim fregosi.  instead, there's carew and baylor who are generally better known for their performance on other teams.  baylor is the angels' only mlb mvp but his career as an angel is nothing like downing's.

for what it's worth,  I think the list isn't a "greatest 5 players" like I was lead to believe (by a cub site).  It appears that it's a combination of baseball ability and humanitarianism.

ultimate7

I guess that explains how Pete Rose and Barry Bonds made it.
