What is the RBI font?

does anyone know the name of the font for the starting screen and for the player names in the game?

There is no name for the font. It's the cleanest way to write letters in 8x7 tiles, so it looks the same on a ton of games.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone came up with a similar modern (TrueType, most likely) font, but I'm drawing a blank.

i think i've seen similar fonts on retro websites, but i'm not sure.  any web people have a guess?

BDawk guesses Times New Roman because, well, it's not all that funny.

if anyone else is curious, there are two files when you download that font and the one that most resembles rbi's font is the font name that ends with "K"  something like "press start k"
