Family Stadium 06 rom

I'm trying to finish a Fam Sta rom with 06 rosters.  Most of it is finished(needs to be tweaked), but I don't know enough about some of the pitchers to accurately rate them.  Any comments/suggestions are welcomed as I need much help.  I hope to have a finished product by Monday, so I need to get this  shit over with.  Enjoy


EDIT:  Doesn't work with JNes.  Works fine with FCEUltra though.  I've not tried anything else.

The computer is much much better on Family Stadium. . . . cards beat me 4-2.

how do you edit a family stadium ROM as opposed to RBI?  have there been numerous advances to the online ROM editor that I am unaware of?

Quick observations with the Twins:

Bartlett's name is misspelled "Btrlt"
Morneau's average is too high (although this probably doesn't matter if you update it for '06)
Lohse and Silva throw with the wrong hand - they're both righties

I didn't do enough with the pitching to be able to tell what the ratings were... is there anything specific you need to know?  Just off the top of my head, Santana and Radke should have excellent speed differentials between their pitches, because of their change-ups (although Radke tops out 5-10 MPH lower than Santana).  Silva is a sinkerballer, but he also pitches to contact, so you probably don't want to give him a very high drop rating.  Lohse is your standard 4th starter, pretty unspectacular overall.  Rincon and Nathan can be pretty similar - they're both top-flight relievers.

This whole thing is awesome - I can't wait to try out a season on the finished product.

Do the pitchers have really low stamina?  The computer changed pitchers every 2 innings on me, so I did the same.

I tried to leave them as close to the default pitcher stamina as possible.  Some guys I added/subtracted a few points, but most are close to being default.

Should I make 2 starters with high stam. and lower the rest to make them more MR type guys???

Loving this but a quick question;

apparently in Japan it's normal to use A1-A9, B1-B9, and C1-C9 as your difficulty settings. Which is hardest, which is easiest? I didn't notice any gameplay difference.

is it just me or do these guys need more power???  I tried to keep it true to the game, but some guys just seem to weak to me(either that or I just can't hit)

i like the low scoring aspects.  I wouldn't changet he offense a bit, based on what i've seen.

here is FS90 with RBI/'87 ratings.  converted RBI guys as best I could with the default RBI data,though some of the pitchers not on RBI may need to be adjusted a little.  Plays pretty well, although I'm trying to change the uniforms back to RBI colors.  This may take a while as I try to figure out the TLP.

I'm trying to change the Yankee's to the Tigers as we speak.  I want to include all the original RBI teams, but don't hold your breath as this shit is confusing.  The logos are really a bitch, cause every time I switch shit around it looks all fckd up when I load the rom???
