Tony Gwynn's career average was .338 --- the best of any player that entered the league since 1940.

Un
fucking
believable

He hit .368 from '93 to '97, something that Ted Williams never accomplished in a 5 year stretch.

If Gwynn doesn't get 100 percent of the votes, I want the dumbass who left him off the ballot to do some serious explaining.

What about Jim Rice?

Why would Jim Rice leave Gwynn off the ballot?

The Raiders are a successful organization

Jim and Tony probably watch porno together. . . .. all the more reason to vote "yes" for Jimmy.

I once reached base in every plate appearance for 6 straight games of tee ball....  That was 24 straight at-bats with a hit...  I didn't walk or K either, I was a first swing kind of hitter then, with wheels to turn a routine base hit into a double.  I bet Ted Williams or Tony Gwynn never got 24 straight hits......

Tony in by a land slide, Jim in by the hair on his bally ball sack

JoeDirt

Color me curious--but how could you possibly walk in t-ball?

Am I alone in being desperate to watch RICKEY HENDERSON'S hall acceptance speech.  I want him to rip the mike off the podium and hold it above his head and proclaim his greatness.  that said tony gywnn is awesome and should receive 100%
