The boys volleyball team I coach is traveling to Chicago on the weekend of 2/16-2/18.

As an assistant coach, they will give me traveling money and put me up in a hotel somewhere near the site which I understand is out in the suburbs, about 45 minutes from the city.

What I'd like to do, is take the per diem, spend the weekend coaching and Friday and Saturday night hang out w/ my internet friends and crash at someone's pad.

anybody going to be around that weekend?

crystal lake is a lot further out than gantry.  it's not that far from zorba, though.  actually, it's still pretty far from zorba.  crystal lake is basically waaay out there.

Crystal Lake is probably 45 minutes from my place...   Still doable, but I don't see you crashing at a dee-nee member's pad though.  Maybe we can meet up by Zorb's house/area one night for drinks, as he's about halfway between team Dee-Nee and Crystal Lake...

I should probably mention that I'm driving up on my own, so I'll have transportation, I'm not afraid to drive an hour and I'm not looking for anyone to haul my ass around or anything.

Kevin Jones rushed for less than 700 yards this year, got injured, and also had fumbly hands.  On the other hand, he had over 500 yards receiving, scored 8 total touchdowns, and had several good games.

I declare it a wash.
