RBI Reunion Tourney Was A Success

Thanks to all for the help this past week everyone with giving web sites and music and sex with rodents suggestions.  It all came together amazingly.  Pics will be be posted soon after my roommate pulls them off his camera today hopefully.  We had nine people make it from various cities such as Columbus, OH and Chicago, IL.  What a coincidence that this is where most of you guys hail from....?  I don't know.  But anyways, we had a round robin regular season to determine standings for the elimination tourney with an 8th place All-Star break play-in game.  Then based on standings you had to pick a team to play all the way through to the end.  The final game was Boston versus Minnesota.  The real highlight game was Minnesota and Detroit in the semi's that was 0-0 through twelve innings with lower then average strike outs so it wasn't a wiff fest.  I came in 3rd with a 6-2 record for the season and then there were ZERO upsets in the end so that was sad.  We played regulation baseball rules which I was not excited about being that I am a "Slurver" but that meant I just had to step up my game a bit.  Amongst the highlights of the weekend were the eulogies for Kirby, Uribe, and Moore beside their graves in the front yard.  We celebrated Julio Franco and Clemens longevity with career highlight and of course low lights.  A 3 foot by 3 foot RBI cartridge on the front door.  Team penant flags for the ceiling (only the 8 teams in RBI complete with their 87 logos as well).  And we played for the most amazing trophy that you can find at a truck stop anywhere in the continental U.S. ....... that's right, a sloached over smirking masturbating indian on a horse (or at least that's what looks like is going on).  You think I am kidding?  NOPE.  The winner is a professor at a university and he said that he is proudly going to display his trophy today for all his classes to enjoy.  In closing, we also posed at the end so we could make baseball cards for this event in photoshop somehow.  Here's mine so everyone will recognize me in the future.  The card poses are the only pics I've gotten thus far now.
