The Nimrods came out flat. Seemed like every inning the Nimrods were involved in a double play. Still not out of it yet....mathematically.

ryno, Mike Schmidt and Big Mac scare me. We need a good plan to calm them down. They have been hot recently. Send the scouting report to me by the end of the day. We cannot let these guys and the FTAS knock us out of first. And fuck GDavis, The Empire will squash that fuckin fungo boy.

Just remind Schmidt about Mac's infatuation with performance enhancing drugs.   They'll be too busy fighting (ie:  Schmidt beating Mac's ass with a louisville slugger) to worry about defeating the empire.

ryno, what happened with the poopydicks? They were hot, and now they are not. I think Gantry needs to stop having punkers and skinheads hanging around the clubhouse. What team has a chance to beat the Empire...as unlikely as it is. I think the only team that can present a problem is GDavis, but The Empire beats them 7/10 times on my scrimmage rom. Fuck...The Empire is fuckin stacked.

Key, Spilman Are The Keys To GDavis Victory

DEE-NEE CITY - Jimmy Key threw a complete game and Harry Spilman homered twice and drove in seven as GDavis jumped out to a huge early lead and held on to a 12-7 victory over The Nimrods on Thursday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.

"I mean, not to be cocky, but when you have as much natrual, God-given talent as I do, you expect this every game," Spilman said. "I'm pretty much surprised when I don't do this every game."

GDavis (7-3) jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead behind a grand slam from Spilman and a solo shot by George Bell. The Nimrods (4-6) attempted to rally with five runs in the sixth inning but were stymied after that.
