Can someone tell me how to download a working version of the stand-up arcade version of RBI?  I have FCE Ultra and the ROM for it but it shows "ERROR" every time I try it.  I'd love to play that on my computer.

Also, does anyone know how I can play a friend online (I'm in Chicago, he's in New York)?  I can't seem to figure that out either.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!  PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU CAN HELP ME.

What ROM are you using? For FCEU, you'd need the VS RBI rom in an iNES VS Unisystem format, not the prg/chr format commonly used for Unisystem games in MAME.

The version Gantry has on his site is the arcade ROM, not the one Nightwulf is talking about - you'll need an arcade emulator, not a NES emulator, to play it.  The only arcade emulator I've played is MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator).  If you have Windows, get MAME32 from http://www.classicgaming.com/mame32qa/ and put the zip file in the roms directory wherever you install it.

MAME doesn't support online play.  FCEU does, but by all the accounts I've heard it's really choppy over the internet (LAN play works okay, though).  To play online using FCEU, use the "Network Play..." menu option (under "Config"), pick one person to be the client and one to be the server, and have the client enter the server's IP address in the text box.  Best of luck.

Thank you.  I'll try it again using these suggestions.
