This Arcade RBIer became the 5th player in MLB history to play in 1000 consecutive games exactly 25 years ago today.

In addition he is a fucking idiot as evidenced by this quote that my MLB calendar credits to him:

or was it Garvey?  I remember him having a long streak of consecutive games

I'm guessing it was Garvey.  Since Cobb wasn't playing 25 years ago.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

This NES RBIer set a MLB record by getting caught stealing 4 times in one game on this date in 1986.  I can't believe I've never heard this one before.

Ricky Henderson?  I can't think of anyone else who would have tried again after being unsuccessful the first 3 times.  Seems like a Ricky move to me.

BDawk

Rickey Henderson was my favorite NES RBIer

BeefMaster

Paul Molitor is my guess.

I'd have guessed Vince, but I don't know if his OBP was ever that great that he'd be likely to reach base four times in a game.

Ooops...I though it said arcade.

OK...I vote for Daey Lopes.

No one has got it yet, this is a tough one.  And one of those records that may never be broken.

Still not right, remember the guy actually has to reach base 4 times in the game, though it was a 12 inning game

Bobby "Milt" Thompson.

I just spoke with my dad on the phone, I asked him this Q before I hung up and he knew this.  Why?  I don't know.

ultimate7

Robby Thompson is correct, does he have a Hall of Shame entry?

These 2 ARCADE Rbiers both got their 2000 thousandth hit on June 19, 1973.

I'm guessing Pete Rose is one, but have no idea who the other might be

maybe Frank Robinson?  although that may be a little too late for him

Rose is one, the other is also a NL player, much tougher
