This RBIer had the final put-out of the 1984 World Series.

Sparky Anderson once said this about an RBIer
QuoteTonight I saw the greatest at bat in my life. . . . RBIer fouled off seven pitches and then picked one practically off the ground and drilled it into the upper deck in right. What a battle! RBIer was up there a full seven minutes."

This RBIer was nicknamed (not by Dee-nee) as "The Terminator

Still waiting...

BeefMaster

I was away from the internets all last week; sorry I'm so slow chiming in.  I'm gonna say...

Darrell Evans seems like the most logical guess.

Mattingly is my first guess... Boggs and Puckett also come to mind, but Boggs wouldn't swing at a pitch way out of the zone, and Puckett wouldn't hit a ball into the upper deck in right field.

Jeff Reardon?  It seems like it has to be a closer.

Nope.

For some reason I focused on bench guys.

The last out was caught by Larry Herndon.

The Sparky Anderson quote was about Bergmann (calling him Bergie in the quote).

And the Terminator is Tom Henke.

This RBIer is the cousin of former Vikings punter Greg Coleman

These two arcade RBIers attended high school together in Oakland, at the same school as NBA great Bill Russell and hip hop legend, MC Hammer

This Arcade RBIer once pondered "I understood why they threw garbage at me, I just never understood why they brought it to the park in the first place"

This RBIer was once quoted as saying "My first thought in the field was always 'I hope they don't hit it to me' and my second thought was 'I hope they don't hit it to Sax'"

Mike Schmidt hit his 500th home run off of this RBIer.

Strawberry and Chris Brown are the HS teammates

Sax, my guess is Guerrero

I've heard the garbage quote before but don't know who said it wild guess Joe Torre

Of course, because Straw was not arcade.

I looked it up, quite a HS and I believe that 3 Arcade RBIers went there, but they weren't all teammates

I was thinking maybe Garvey for the garbage quote... I've heard it before, too, but can't put a name to it.

Greg Coleman is the sideline reporter for the Vikings' radio broadcasts, but I don't know who his cousin would be.  Coleman's African-American and played for the team in either the late 70s and/or early 80s (before I started following the team, I know that), if that helps narrow things down.

Not Garvey

Greg Coleman is Vince's cousin

I think questions like this need some sort of hint, becuase you either know it or you don't, it's not like I'm gonna think about it and figure it out.

Bobby Doerr?

Nope.

He was a national leaguer, and it was said in response to the Detroit crowd...
