Week 2 is in the books.

Attezz vs Fighton
Game 1:  Again Attezz takes the game into the 9th inning.  Ruth went 7-7 with 3 HRs, and Stahl added 4 triples.  Fighton was trying to fight from behind the entire game.  3 double play balls kept ruining rallies.  However, raw team power led by a 7-7 4HR Berra, was enough to give Fighton a come from behind victory in the 9th inning (their first lead of the game).
Game 2:  Both offenses were stagnant early and it was 0-0 after the first inning.  However, then Fighton's offense turned it on. Pujols and and Aramis Ramirez had 3 HRs each.  Kent had a grand slam.  Batters 7-9 went 15-15 with 3 HRs.  Howard finally got things going adding 2 late HRs.  Despite all this, Attezz was able to hang in there for a while, but just couldn't keep up.  Fighton completes the 2 game sweep, while Attezz drops to 0-5.
Series MVP goes to

Fknmclane vs GDavis
Game 1:  Well GDavis averaged 8 runs an inning in this game.  Unfortunately, the game only lasted 1 inning as mclane put up 27 runs in the top of the first.  Alomar, Ortiz, Thomas, Palmer, Colavito, & Uribe went a combined 21-21 with 7 HRs in (yes) 1 inning.  On 1 bright note for GDavis' squad, Aaron did go 2-2 with 2 HRs.
Game 2:  Mclane nearly finished it again in the first inning.  With Gorman Thomas already with a grand slam in the first inning (2nd in 3 Abs), he got another chance in the 1st inning with the bases loaded but grounded into a 5-2-3 double play to end the inning.  Aaron continues to be red hot (going 8-8 w/ 2 HRs) and kept Davis in the game.  Add a Sauer grand slam, and a 3-HR night for Petrocceli and Horner, and GDavis was able to get hot enough in the last 2 innings to put away McLane early.  Ironically, it took McLane 6 innings in this game to score as many runs as the 1st inning of game 1.  Keep in mind that McLane has won 2 of his last 3 games without Mantle doing anything (only 8-17 with 0 HRs and 2 RBIs).  If he gets hot in that line-up McLane is going to be the team to beat this year.
Series MVP goes to Aaron going 10-10 w/ 4 HRs and 11 RBIs.
LVP goes to Mantle.  If he does even half of what is expected of him, McLane gets his second series sweep of the season.  4-10 (all singles) just doesn't cut it for the Mick.
Uribe was on fire in the 9-hole for McLane (7-9 with 4HRs (GS) and 9 RBIs).
Horner had a great series for Gdavis.  (8-9 with 4HRs and 10 RBIs.

Nomaaa vs AlecTrevylan
Game 1:  AlecTrevylan's squad just never got hot in this game.  Scored 11 runs thru the first 3 innings led by a 3-3, 2HR game from Mays, but that wasn't enough.  Crawford was 4-4 and he scored every time he was on base.  Murphy had a grand slam in the 3rd inning.  McGriff also added a HR in the win.
Game 2:  More bad news for AlecTrevylan.  His squad goes only 1-6 including a double play ground ball from Ordonez.  2 inning was more than enough for Nomaaa to put up 10 runs.  The early slaugter was led by a 2-2, HR, 4 RBI game from Ramirez.  McGriff, Fisk, Murphy, and Boone also had homers.
Series MVP I am going to give to Crawford.  Although he had no HRs, he was Nomaaa's only guy to bat 1.000 in the series.  Manny also had a big game going 5-6 with 9 RBIs.  Murphy added 2 HRs (including a GS).
LVP is actually tough to pick.  I'm going to go with Ichiro.  Your leadoff guy cannot bat .250 in any series in this league (although his 1 hit was a triple).
Don't blame... Johnny Bench.  Although he only had 2 at bats, he got hits in both.

Ultimate vs Big Hath
Game 1:  Ultimate gets a good offensive showing from McCovey, Mitchel, Hundley, and Mondesi with 2 HRs each.  Big Hath could never get anything but 2-3 runs per inning.  Berkman killed him going 0-5 in the 2-hole.
Game 2 was so short I can pretty much tell you what happened in every AB.  For Big Hath, Bonds pops out.  Berkman hits a solo shot.  Thome gets a single followed imediately by Killebrew grounding into a dp.  Ultimate gets the bottom of the inning.  All batters 1-9 get singles the first time through the lineup.  Soriano hits a grand slam.  Next 3 batters get singles (with Stargel getting the walk-off RBI).  Ultimate bats 1.000 in game 2.
Series MVP goes to Soriano going 7-8, 2HRs (GS), and 5 RBIs.
LVP goes to Buhner, going 0-4 in the 2-game series.
Don't blame Killebrew.  He went 4-5 in the series with a double, HR and 3 RBI.

Beefmaster vs Nacho
Game 1:  Both offenses started out cold as hell, and score was tied at 1 a piece at the end of two.  Beef scored 1 more run in the top of the 3rd on a DiMaggio solo shot.  This was the perfect time for Nacho's squad to hot, and they did.  They put up 11 runs in the bottom of the 3rd led by home runs from AROD and VLAD.
Game 2:  Much of the same for Beef.  Started out strong in the 1st inning leading off w/ a double followed by back-to-back HRs, but then just fizzled.  Nacho kept the pressure on led by 4-4 games from Vlad and Andruw Jones (combining for 9 RBIs).
Series MVP goes to Vlad Guerrero going 6-7, 3HRs, & 8 RBIs.  Andruw had a 7-7 game himself.
LVP goes to Campanella.  0-4 & GDP.  6-9 batters were shutout in the series on the RBI front.
Don't blame Stuart, who went 4-4, HR, 4 RBIs.  Bonds also went 3-3 with a sac fly.

Rack vs Gantry
Game 1:  Rack started out with a bang putting up 10 runs in the 1st.  Gantry responds with 14 runs in the bottom of the first led by 2HRs from Mize.  Things got a little quiet for awhile until Rack put up 18 runs in the top of the 4th.  Gantry had his work cut out, and fell just short of preventing the 10-run rule.
Belle went 6-6 with 2HRs and 8 RBI, wile Bagwell had a 4HR game.  Molly even added 2 HRs from the 9-hole.
Game 2:  Rack could never get going in this game. Belle and Klein went a combined 1-7, and Kiner (4-4, 2HR, 6 RBI) was the only guy in the lineup with a great game.  Gantry quietly kept consistent thru 5 innings.  Mize went 5-5, 2HR, 4 RBI.
Series MVP goes to Kiner; 9-10, 5HRs, 12 RBIs.  Mize and Bagwell both had 4HR games.
LVP goes to Chipper Jones.  Went only 4-10 with 0 HRs and only 1 RBI in the series.

Ryno vs Weathermatt
Game 1; Although EDavis, Sandberg, Rice, and GCarter went a combined 6-6, the rest of Ryno's team was flat.  After 2 innings Weathermatt's squad put of 16 runs and that is all they needed to end it.  Kingman and Valentine combined 4-4 with 10 RBIs and a Grand Slam each.
Game 2; Both teams went at it for 7 innings.  In the early innings there was no clear-cut winner although Weathermatt jumped out to a big lead with a Joe Carter Grand slam.  Then in the 6th and 7th innings both teams put up double digits in the top/bottom of both innings.  Kingman added his 2nd grand slam in as many games and McGwire with 6-6 with 2 HRs.  However, Ryno's squad did not back down.  Eric Davis and Dawson both added grand slams as well.  Finally Palmiero ended it with a (ever so exciting) sac fly.
Series MVP goes to Eric Davis.  Batted 9-10 in the leadoff spot with 3HRs and 10 RBIs.  Kingman had 2 grand slams and 14 RBIs, but only batted .667.
LVP goes to Reggie Sanders.  Only batted .333 in the leadoff spot with 0HRs and only 1 RBI.
Joe Carter and Mac had great games for weathermatt combining 16-18 with 6HRs and 15 RBIs.
Sandberg batted .800 in the series with 5 RBIs for Ryno, while Palmiero, Schmidt, & Dawson each added 2 HRs.

Stock vs Shooty
Game 1; Team Stock got 5 in the first inning led by Piazza & Griffey HRs.  However, that was all the offense they could muster.  Shooty promptly put up 15 runs by the 3rd, led by Sosa, Greenberg, M.Williams, Justice and Parrish going a combined 14-14, with 5 HRs.
Game 2; Congrats to Shooty in a 1 inning no hit victory.  10 runs scored in the first led by HRs from Edmonds and Greenberg.  Stock's top of the order goes down 1-2-3.
Series MVP goes to Sosa; 5-5, 2B, 2HR, 6 RBIs.  Although Greenberg, Williams, & Justice also batted 1.000 in the series.
LVP goes to Fryman, going hitless in the series.
Don't blame... Mel Ott who went 2-2 with a double in the series. (slim pickings).

Stock, how are you keeping stats for each game?  Do you have a boxscore sheet and write them down as you go along?

Yes.... a jerry rigged box score sheet.
That is why I am only keeping track of the easy stats.

When I was a kid I kept RBI stats.  I'd draw up the score sheets and have my Dad make copies for me.

It was some of the most fun I had other than being out playing real baseball.

Beefmaster vs Attezz
Game 1; Beefmaster needed just 2 innings to dispose of Attezz.  Attez scored 1 run in the first off of a Konerko sac fly, and 1 run in the second from a Lobert solo HR.  Hornsby, Bonds, and Campanella went a combined 6-6 with 6HRs in the 2-inning affair.
Game 2, Led by a 2-run shot from Ruth and an RBI triple from Chance, Attezz managed to score 50% more runs than in game 1.  This was not enough.  Zernial led the slaughter going 2-2, 2HR, 6 RBI.  Robinson added 2 solo shots.
Series MVP goes to Campanella, batting 1.000 with 2HRs in the series.  Hornsby, Bonds, and Frank Robinson had 3 HRs each.
LVP goes to Ty Cobb.  0-4 in the leadoff spot = crapped the bed.
Don't blame.... Ruth.  He went 2-2 with a HR.  Chance also went 2-2 with 2 triples.

Fighton vs Nacho
Game 1; Niether team really got anything huge going and was a rather fast 9 inning game.  Although Nomar, Pujols, Berra and Howard all had HRs, they all batted sub .500 for Fighton.  For Nacho, nobody really had a HUGE game (by RBI standards), but a 13 run 3rd, and a late clutch Grand Slam from AROD made all the difference (take that AROD AB, and the 3rd inning away and the team batted only slightly over .400.
Game 2 was all Nacho.  A solo shot from Lefty O'Doul was Fighton's only offense.  AROD had 2HRs and 4 RBIs in two innings.  DiMaggio and Maris also had home runs.
Series MVP goes to AROD.  He had 4 HRs (GS), and 9 RBIs in the 2 game sweep.  Andruw Jones also had a great series, going 8-9.  Wagner did not help at all going 1-8.
LVP goes to Howard, going 2-7 with only 1 RBI in the series.
Don't blame... Lefty O'Doul who went 5-7 with 3HRs and 9 RBIs in the series loss.

McLane vs Rack
Game 1 was a back and forth slugfest.  McLane scored 40 runs thru the first 8 innings led by a sick performance from David Ortiz; 8-9, 5HRs (GS), 16 RBIs.  Rack scored 38 runs in the same number of innings with 8/9 batters with multiple home runs.  IROD got blanked.  McLane really shot himself in the foot when he was not able to score in the top of the ninth (rally killed by a Gorman Thomas double play ball).  Jeter quickly tied it up in the bottom of the 9th with a 2-run HR.  Belle hit his 6th HR of the game to walk off (7-9 and 9 RBI).  Jeter had 3 HRs, Kiner had 4 HRs.  Bagwell had 4 HRs.
Game 2, McLane just started out flat (only 3 runs in the first two innings-no home runs).  This was all Rack needed as his squad kept pace with game 1.  Belle, Foxx, Kiner, Klein, and Molitor combined 10-12 w/ 3HRs and 12 RBIs in 2 innings.
Series MVP goes to Albert Belle; 10-12, 6HRs, 10 RBIs.  Kiner had a 5HR series and Bagwell had a 4HR series.
LVP goes to Uribe, going only 3-9 with 0 RBIs.  Although, Gorman Thomas did not really meet expectations either.  He batted .500 with only 3 RBIs in the 43-run series, and grounded into 2 double plays.
Don't blame ... David Ortiz.  He had an outstanding series, going 10-11 with 5HRs and 17 RBIs.  Colavito batted .800 with 3 bombs from the #8 spot in the line-up, which is not too shabby.

GDavis vs Gantry
Game 1 started out like it was going to be a slugfest with both teams scoring in the double digits thru 2 innings.  However, then both teams went cold until Gantry's Poopybutts had a 10 run 6th to give them the win.  Ted Williams had 4 HRs & 6 RBIs.  Dunn & York each added 2 HRs as well.  For GDavis, 3 double play balls and an 0-4 game from Jose did not help them get any rallies going.
Game 2:  Quite the contrary to game 1.  Gantry batted around in the 1st putting up five runs.  GDavis followed immediately with 12 runs in the bottom half.  Gantry then put up a doughnut in the top of the 2nd.  That was all GDavis needed to put away Gantry.  Fielder ended the game with a walk-off blast.  Canseco redeemed his 0-for Game 1 with a 3-3 game with a HR and 3 RBIs.
Series MVP goes to Hank Aaron.  Although, he only had 2 HRs, he went 6-7 with 2 doubles and led both teams in RBIs with 8.
LVP goes to Jose.  Although he redeemed himself with a good game 2, going 0-4 in game 1 with a double play ball to boot, may have cost GDavis that game.
Ted Williams, Delgado, & Dunn also had great games.  Williams only had 5 hits in the series, but they were all HRs.  Delgado had 3 HRs and went 6-7.  Dunn went 6-7 with 3 HRs and 6 RBIs.

Nomaaa vs Ryno
Game 1, Nomaaa's squad just crapped the bed.  Save for a solo HR from Boone, the rest of the team went 2-9 with 2 singles and 2 GDPs. Ryno's Eric Davis led the 3 inning slaughter; 3-3 with 2 HRs and 5 RBIs.  Dawson went 2-2 with a HR.
Game 2, Ryno's 80's squad started off just like they left off game 1.  They put up a 12-spot in the top of the first w/o hitting 1 home run.  However, they then went cold for a while and let Nomaaa get right back into the game.  Nomaaa was ahead after 8 innings and then Ryno put up 12 runs again in the top of the 9th led by 3-run HRs from Ripken and Schmidt.  Nomaaa couldn't even get one run in the bottom of the 9th.
MVP goes to Mike Schmidt; 9-12, 3HR, 9 RBI.  Although, he batted more than 100 points less than Schmidt, Ripken hit 4 HRs (GS) and drove in 14 runs in the series.
LVP goes to Fisk.  Besides a solo HR, he went 0-7 in the series.
Don't blame... Beltran.  From the #9 spot in the order he went 8-9 with a 3B & a HR.  Scheffield also managed to drive in 12 runs and hit 3 HRs (GS) despite only batting .545 in the series.  Brett Boone also had 3 HRs from the #8 spot in the order.

AlecTrevylan vs Weathermatt
Game 1 was all AlecT.  Besides a solo shot from Juan Gonzalez, Weathermatt went 0-6 in 2 innings.  Meanwhile, Mays had the worst game for AlecTrevylan's squad and he went 1-3 with a HR.  Ichiro tore it up going 4-4 with a 3B, HR and 5 RBIs.  Rollins even added a 3-runs shot.  Gehrig had a grand slam.  Glaus & Ordonez each had 2 HRs.  Burks/Bench/Robinson combined 9-9 with a HR, 2 2B and 3 RBIs.
Game 2 was Weathermatt's turn to score some runs.  Big Mac lead the pack with a 3 HR game and 6 RBIs in 3 innings.  Joe Carter added 2 more HRs.  Rollins' grand slam was the only bright spot from AlecT's team in this game.
Series MVP goes to Lou Gehrig going 5-5 with 2 HRs (GS) and 5 RBIs.  Burks and Gonzalez also batted 1.000 in the series.  Mac lead the series with 3 HRs, while Rollins lead the series with 9 RBIs.
LVP goes to Rob Deer going only 1-5 (single) and a GDP.

Ultimate vs Stock
Game 1, both teams batted around in the 1st inning and the score was close for the first few innings.  However, Team Stock put up 13 runs in the bottom of the 4th to complete the slaughter.  Mo Vaughn had the walk-off solo shot.  Helton, Morgan & Ott all had multiple HR games.
Game 2 was a great game to play.  Both offenses were putting up runs consistently.  Each of Ultimate's first 5 batters had multiple home run games with Stargel going 7-7.  Griffey, Piazza, & Ott had 3 HR games for Stock.  Stock scored 11 runs in the top of the 8th led by 2 HRs (incl. a GS) from Piazza.  This gave Stock a commanding lead going into the bottom of the 8th.  Ultimate scored 6 runs and had a big opportunity to survive another inning until  Strawberry popped up with the bases loaded to end the inning and the game.
Series MVP goes to Ken Griffey Jr easily.  Went 12-13 with 4HRs, & 13 RBIs.  Larry Walker & Mel Ott also had a great series.  Walker going 11-13 with two HRs.  Ott went 10-12 with 5 HRs (slugging 2.250 in the series).
LVP goes to Kevin Mitchel.  He only batted .400 in the series, and with 48 runs scored by Ultimate, he was the only guy with 0 RBIs.
Don't blame.... Stargel; 9-11, 4HR, 7 RBIs. McCovey also had a 4 HR series.

Big Hath vs Shooty
Game 1 was all Big Hath.  In the first inning 11 runs were scored.  Bobby Bonds had 2 HRs.  Thome, Killebrew, Greg Vaughn, Gordon and Furcal all had HRs too.  Shooty gets blanked, capped off nicely with a Sosa GDP.
Game 2 Shooty started out much better putting up 12 runs in the top of the first.  However, Big Hath countered nicely with 9 runs in the bottom half.  From there on out, Big Hath kept pulling farther and farther away, and led by a 5 HR game from Greg Vaughn, finally finished it in the 5th inning.  Bobby Bonds also went 6-6 with 4 doubles and a triple.
Series MVP goes to Greg Vaughn; 6-7 with 6 HRs in the series.  Bonds batted 1.000 in the series with 2 HRs, 4 2Bs, & a 3B.
LVP goes to Tavaras. 0-4 in the series.
Don't blame.... Dave Justice; 4-4 in the series with a HR.

That is crazy.  I feel like I need to recheck the spreadsheet to see if that is really true (I am sure it is).
Guessing a couple of close wins in low scoring games coupled with a bad performing loss will do that to you.
