If Bud Ice is the deathstar of beers, then Jager is the deathstar of hard alcohol.  At least for me.

I'm not a big fan of Jager but I have started to drink a Jagerbomb every now and then.  I have a friend who calls them mind erasers because he blacks out every time he has more than 3 or 4.

Maybe it's because I just can't separate RBI from reality, but the Mets-Boston game has to be the best rivalry.  This is a replay of one of the most memorable World Series ever played, with the actual players who were in it.

I love the Mets vs the Cards. I loved the Mets as a kid and my friend loved the Cards. The Mets should win, but they're prone to droughts, so they games are competitive and fun.
-I'd like to make note that Ozzie Smith has gone yard 2x in the last week after probably hitting one HR in the last 15 years. The biggie was a 3 run bomb to tie a game last thursday.

I'm going back to the first post on this one:  Mets vs AL.

Chubbs and I played a 12-inning marathon last night after getting home from the bar.  I had him fooled the entire game with Doc.  Doc went 9 innings but had to come out.

Uncle Jesse was dominate as usual and Roger Mc sucked balls as usual, giving up an opposite field 2 run bomb to Jose Canseco.  It was actually a very good pitch, I don't know how he got so much meat on it.  Fastball in on the hands, coming from the right side of the rubber.

I really shouldn't have been in the game at all, though.  Chubbs made three throwing errors that cost him three runs.

This is not true. I recently split a bottle of Jager with my friend Drunken Steve, and I remember everything from that night.

Of course, it was a terrible night, and the next day I was trying to get to work at 3 in the afternoon and remember thinking to myself "I really have no business driving right now," but I rememeber every damn thing.

As for rivalries, how about SF vs. Ca??? Both have mediocre pitchers and pretty decent power. Throwing Spilman and Jones into the mix cranks it up into a whole new level of ass-kicking. SF has to be one of the most underrated teams ever.

well here's another vote for the SL/SF rivalry... im not exactly sure what makes this so good, i guess the contrast in styles works... and the Tudor vs Will match-up is always intense (ive already added my 2 sense in another thread about the L/L as opposed to L/R).. not to mention the mere prescence of Harry, which is always exciting.. i dont think this really warrants another thread, but is National League All-Stars vs Houston the undispusted worst rivalry? I mean its fun to play against someone who sucks, and try to take the 'Stros to victory, but this is more handicapping than rivalry...
