In a preseason exhibition The Rebel Alliance took it to the Galactic Empire and beat them in front of their home crowd.

The empire played good ball but suffered from apparent mismangement in the form of a poor batting order.  Had Dale Murphy and Jim Rice had more runners to bat in things may have been different.

On the other side the in game manager for the alliance must have fallen asleep, as pitchers batted twice only to be taken out the very next inning in favor of relief...  wtf computer?

Candy Maldonado hit a beautiful grand slam in the 9th off Schirialdi, and McDowell got the save despite giving up 5 runs in the last 2 innings.

Clemens is credited with the win, and Cox is marked for the loss.

I look forward to meeting the Empire on the field during the regular season.

There is specific criteria that must be met for the CPU to change pitchers or PH.

We should FAQ this list, please add to whatever I'm missing.

Starter will be removed or PH for after 4 innings if his team is losing, tied, or winning by 3? or less.
2nd pitcher will be removed after pithcing the 7th inning on same criteria
3rd pitcher after pitching the 8th.

i think every pitcher pitches except P4 or RP2 whatever we call it, (the fourth pitcher on the list), unless you're losing.  there's no need for the "closer" to pitch the ninth, sine there won't be a home half of the ninth (the bottom of the ninth). ultimate, correct me if i'm wrong.

also, i believe that SP1 will go longer than 4 won't he?  if he has a big lead?  could be wrong there too.

Not if it is a blowout (stays >3 runs the whole time), but if it is a close game, yes
