You can't force the computer to only use 1SP and 2RP anyways can you?  I don't see how this will work out.

No. Then the RP is way out of gas by the 7th inning which would bring down the standards and integrity of the league.

What kind of look are you after? In any case, nothing would change as far as how the pitchers are substituted during a watch game. The SP in the #4 slot would come in the 9th to shut the door...assuming if it's a close enough game. Attezz switched to a SP-RP-RP-SP format last season....

That's what i mean --- how would it all shake out according to any assumed systems the computer has for subbing.

I have no knowledge of the when or how they do it. . . . someone alluded to it earlier but it was the first I'd ever heard (not paying much attention, possibly).

I watched a few preseason games the other night, lost to the Imperiacal Data Incorporated 14-13 in 13 innings in the first game (Hernandez pitched the first 5 and only gave up 3 runs), in the second game against RA (team two, not sure who it is) I was up 5-3 after 7 and eventually won 9-8 after Reardon barely got out of the 9th, Hernandez only gave up 2 runs in 4 innings (he was taken out and Gooden pitched well).

My offense sucks but somehow I think my pitching my be alright, and I didn't really read through the above stuff, but I really want to go:

And will be kinda pissed if I can't use Hernandez as my SP1

The above is the only accepted format. A relief pitcher may not start a game. You can use your relief pitchers who are in relief in any order of course.

A SP must start a game and a SP may not start in consecutive games. The non starting SP will be used as the #2 pitcher.

There are now 2 separate ROM's. One ROM has the pitchers starting with the pitching rotation you guys gave me. And the other ROM has the #2 SP starting the game.
