The Error rate is 5 for all.  I had 2 BOPs and a strange misplay in the OF, plus twice I got fucked on the 3rd basemen throwing home on a FC to get the guy at the plate, then the catcher throwing to 1st before the tag was made, and of course too late to get the out at first.

You really did have some weird luck in that game. Week 2 was an odd one. That mishap in LF blew my mind. And the Sally Cunts missed a fly ball which was out of the ordinary.

I lucked out against BeefMaster in my game. I did not have to throw to any of his pinch hitters. Luck of the draw I guess. None of his pinch hitters made an appearance, and Heep is an awesome pinch hitter. I've ran a lot of games to get a sense, and I really had the force on my side for that game. Schmidt and Dawson did not do that much damage and the practice games that I ran against Beef's team usually were 50-50. Beef has a lot of power in his lineup. I've seen a lot of practice games btw.

But that's what happens when I run an official game...anything can happen.

Ryno, sorry man, gotta go back to bed.

I had some of that shitty luck last week. . . .crazy BOPS and shit. . ..  it got Pedrique some playing time, so it wasn't all that bad.

AlecTrevylan006

I got lucky on bops.

I'm also incredibly awesome.

PBR @ OC ROM and game attached.

You need to download the rom attached to see the game. Ryno made some changes so I had to adjust the rom for this game.

Dykstra walk-off caps 9th inning comeback

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - With a 9-4 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, the Unhloly Legions of Doom (1-1) appeared to be on the verge of going 2-0.

Set up man Robnsn started the 9th by giving up 2 straight doubles and two runs. Closer Franco came in to slam the door in relief. Franco then gave up consecutive RBI hits to Donnie Baseball, Murphy and Heath before getting Knight to line out.

Down 9-7 with one out, Lenny Dykstra swung at the first pitch by Franco and delivered a  heroic shot into the right field bleachers to give the Galactic Empire (2-0) a 10-9 win in dramatic fashion. The crowd of 93,000 at the Imperial Center Stadium chanted "LENNY-LENNY-LENNY" as Dykstra gleefully trotted the bases.

Dykstra finished the day 3-5 with 3 rbi's and a single shy of hitting for the cycle.

J.Morris (2 ER) and Danny Cox (3 ER) were brilliant for the second straight week. They were caught up in a pitchers duel with Reushl (1 ER) and Sutton (1 ER) who both were impressively sharp with their command. Orosco gave up no runs in his relief appearance and kept the game reasonably close while the Empire's impeccable defense appeared to play at a very high and crisp speed.

"The difference was the bullpen today and how we harnessed the Force to stage a last inning comeback which we knew we could " said Darkside. "Our ballplayers are mentally tough and we've been through a lot, this is just one win and the moment is over. Now we need to prepare for the Pabst Blue Ribbons" philosophized Darkside to a group of swarming reporters.

"This says a lot about this team and about the guys," team captain D.Mattingly said. "We did a lot of things right, we did a lot of things wrong, but we kept fighting."

Mike Schmidt homered once again for the Unholy Legions and now leads the league with 5 homeruns in two games.

Seriously... that was your only homerun?

I might need to switch around Franco and Robinson or something.

Yep...we have two homeruns now in 2 games, but easily leading the league in doubles. We'll hit more homeruns eventually. But I am pleased with how we hit so far. I like high contact hitters with power above 780 or so. Our lineup is loaded with them.
So far, Cox and Morris are doing what they should be doing...Though Shiraldi gave up 3 runs, I'm still pleased with the effort.

To be honest, I was scared to death of Schmidt, Dawson, and GDavis. GDavis killed you. He hit into a double play with runners on the corners in the 6th or something and had some bad at bats. Schmidt and Dawson did not have their best games, and I lucked out with none of your pinch hitters getting an AB. I was surprised at how Reushl pitched that good.

Anyways, there were some great games this week. I'll finish up the postgames tomorrow. I have to redo 2 boxscores...arghh

I was really surprised that the Artichokes did a number on the Sally Cunts like that. Gooden got a lead though, and if he gets a lead, things can be tight.

Speir had 4 hr's in the Fighting Cutlers-Badasses game. I think the BadAsses have almost 20 homeruns in two games. I'll try and get the stats out soon.

Awesome season so far...

The Badasses are pretty awesome, what can I say?

I have no idea where this power has come from, we've gotten really lucky.

I think the big deal for us so far has been pitching though. Tudor put up an MVP performance in game 1, and was doing decently in this until he was left in longer than he needed to. And Charlie K is top notch.

run it.  i'm on vacation.

Chocolate Rain stun Rebel Alliance in come from behind victory

DEE NEE (AP) – With a 9 run lead after two innings, the Rebel Alliance took their foot off the pedal and allowed the Chocolate Rain to stick around. Up 9-0 after two innings, the Rebel Alliance did not score again and only had 6 hits after the second inning as they took a 9-5 lead going into the bottom of the 9th. King came in to finish the game and things looked good after getting the leadoff batter (Henke) out. The Chocolate Rain' top of the line up then quickly caught fire as Tramml lead the assault off with a double. King got Jack Clark to pop out, and with two outs with a runner on second, George Brett hit a game tying double followed by a Pena single which set the stage for the pinch hit hero, Pettis.  With runners on the corners and two outs, Pettis sliced a hanging King curve ball down the right field line to end the game in front of 72, 000 roaring fans. King was hammered for 7 hits and 5 runs in the crucial ninth.

Blylvn, Stanly, and Henke gave up a combined 1 hit and no runs in the last 5 innings. Lemon led the Chocolate Rain hitting attack by going 5-5 with two homeruns and Brookn hit two doubles as he went 4-5.

The Chocolate Rain improves to 2-0, and the Rebel Alliance is 0-2.

Awesome Badasses roll to 25-18 victory

DEE NEE (AP) -  The Awesome Badasses displayed their explosive power by hitting 10 homeruns off the Fighting Cutler pitchers. Rupert Jones hit three towering shots and Kirby Puckett hit two homeruns. Puckett and Jones combined to go for 9-14 with 5 homeruns, 10 rbi's, and 10 runs. Not bad for your 1-2 punch at the top of the line-up.

Frank Viola picked up the win and the Badasses relief pitching did enough to never surrender a lead in the game.

"The Badasses are pretty awesome, what can I say? I have no idea where this power has come from, we've gotten really lucky" said AlecTrevlan.

The Awesome Badasses move to 2-0 while the Fighting Cutlers are now 0-2.

Fernandomania simmers down

BOSTON (AP) - After El Toro's spectacularly dominating pitching debut for the Sally Cunts (1-1) in week 1, Fernandomania swept through Bill Belichick Park as thousands of Hispanic supporters from the Boston area packed the stadium.

With a 7-6 lead going into the top half of the 7th inning, Fernandomania quickly simmered down as El Toro was tagged for 7 runs and the loss.

The Fighting Artichokes (1-1) erupted for 16 runs in the 7th and 8th inning to put the game away 18-8 in 8 innings (mercy rule).

Doc Gooden picked up the win in relief and DaEvns had 5 rbi's and hit a moonshot that traveled an estimated 650 feet.

TBT was unavailable for comments, but owner Mike D of the Sally Cunts offered his thoughts, " After watching that game, I feel like there were some sort of shenanigans occuring.  Why did all our fielders run straight in towards the plate on every ground ball/line drive instead of going to the ball like they did last game?  I sense some manipulation."

80's at eight

Mike D.

Still claiming shenanigans or some sort of faulty SIM.  The fielding was beyond atrocious, 3/4's of the Artichokes runs were scored by way of fielding mishaps.

Mike D.

It's crazy, I know.  But the Artichokes fielders moved laterally on grounders and line drives, whereas the Cunts just ran straight towards the plate each time.  Very weird, but I guess thats the way the cookie crumbles.

I can't control anything (except for 1p subs) when the game is in watch mode Mike D. If I wanted anyone to win, it would be the Sally Cunts...the Artichokes are in my division...also the league would have gained much more attention had you fucks won. There was one fly ball where the second baseman could not get to. It was one of those tweeners that would have been routine had Strawberry hustled his lazy ass, but he let the second baseman go after the ball, and the ball floated away from him. One of those mishaps that happen from time to time in watch mode.

3/4's of the Artichokes runs were scored by clean hits....no need to exaggerate on the mishap thing.

Mike, I think you are not too familiar with how the watch game mode is played. There was nothing funny about the game. That is how the computer plays defense.

Here is that mishap btw...I think you need to have a sit down with the Straw...lots of talent, but the dude is a cancer...He'll never play for the Empire...

Al Pedrique's  first ever Fantasy RBI start inspires Pabst Blue Ribbons to victory

SAN LUIS OBISPO (AP) – Under the beautiful California coastal soft blue skies at Central Coast Park, manager Ryno held a team speech in right field 10 minutes before the game. It was not a pretty speech, but the message was sent as the Pabst Blue Ribbons surged past the OC.

The PBR's lineup was changed twice before game time. The beneficiary of the impromptu change, Al Pedrique, made his first ever Fantasy RBI start and he responded like his life was on the line.

Al Pedrique went 5-8 in his debut and sparked a 9th inning rally to tie the game at 20-20 with 2 outs. In the top of the tenth, Gedman doubled to score DwEvans  to make it 21-20, then late inning substitution J.Uribe tripled in Gedman to give the PBR's a 22-20 lead. That was all Dave Righetti needed as he retired the side in the bottom of the 10th inning to earn a victory.

The extra inning game was the first of the year for Fantasy season V. The thrilling game saw the lead change 7 times. The OC drop to 0-2 while the Pabst Blue Ribbons pick up their first victory and improve to 1-1.
