I'm posting an excel spreadsheet here to help everyone with the upcoming fantasy season.  This is what I call the RBI Fantasy Manager.  It doesn't have anything groundbreaking, but it's got a draft tracker and full RBI roster with fielding positions (IF/OF/C, and even actual positions if there's ever a league run like that).  I did include a good sheet in there about speed, so be sure to check it out.  The pitchers sheets have some basic compilation of attributes in a few columns that may help.  Although the values vs. real fantasy experience is still debatable.

The full roster sheet is good for customizing your own formulas and breakdowns of the game as you see fit.  The Draft sheet needs to be edited if anyone has excel formula skills.  I couldnt figure out how to count the lefties, so I just did that part by hand.

The Galactic Senate has voted on maintaining the status quo of the draft to ensure its simplicity as well as the quality of the league and teams.

In addition, there will also be no changes made to any player's attributes. As commissioner of the FRBI League, I see no need to change the existing order of things that have been established since its inception. The existing state of the league is fair and has functioned equally to everybody. The decision made by the Galactic Senate will be impervious to any other suggestions regarding the draft and player's attributes.

The draft will more than likely take place in two weeks. The stats are taking longer than anticipated from last season to finish up, so I ask for patience. Also, the FRBI VI draft should not interfere with the current babe draft in the other board.

Yes, there is a long list of people who would like to run a team.  Are you two sure about this?

Yeah - we think it would be fun for two experienced players to collaborate on strategy, to see how differently we do things, and it's always nice to see new blood in the league.

Okay, thanks for the reply Beef. I appreciate it. I'm assuming the OC will stay intact, yes? The Galactic Senate values the label and prestige that the OC brings to the FRBI League since they are two time champions. They are America's team if you will. However you guys decide on the team name with your alliance, the OC's slot in the Gantry Division will remain intact and the Unholy Legions of Doom slot in the Dove RBI Division is now open for a new owner and franchise. I expect this spot to be occupied by the end of the day. We have a short list of prospects who we will contact shortly.

We're still working on a name for the combined franchise (it will still reference the OC in some form), and I am fine with taking the OC's spot in the league and incorporating its history, if you're keeping track of that kind of thing.

How does the draft starting next Wednesday or Thursday sound to everyone? I was thinking of doing the draft draw tomorrow or on Monday. If not next week, then the draft will take place for sure on March 1st.

Yeah, why not. In fact, it's official. Monday the draft begins. I'll get the official thread up tomorrow and I will announce the draft order as well. I'll tape the draw from the hat and put it up on youtube as well.

Draft selection will take place at 7:00 AM Dee Nee clock time. It will be filmed. If anyone would like to see the filming of the drawing from the hat, then just say the word and I'll put it up on youtube.
