Huge day in the RBI world tomorrow. I just paid a few home visits tonight with some players who we feel may fit in with the Empire's heads up ball style of play. They are borderline and we had to get a better sense by visiting with them. And they practically begged me to draft them. They want to be a part of your class organization. ;) Who doesn't want to join a champion?

Anyways, hopefully tecmoturd will make his pic early so we can roll through the first day. I'm going to have my kids tomorrow since they have winter break, so expect a couple of lockdowns tomorrow before I am able to get back in front of the computer.

So I can update the OP with all the draft picks. We'll see. If I do have to step away, maybe I'll just let things flow. Although there is no time limit on draft picks, that does not mean waiting a whole day or two. I'll use my discretion on that should there be a penalty---like losing a spot in that round.

Also, another factor of me being around when the draft is going on is so I can see the pick when it's posted and then record it and type it in on the first page. Let it be known, that once you make that pick and post it, there is NO TURNING BACK. Meaning you can't go and delete your pick then make a new pick.

In addition, if you pick a player that has already been picked, then you'll be notified asap. I also need to be around to catch that so the next guy does not make the next pick---in that event, that pick wont count until the twice chosen players is replaced.

On the 15th you said it would be in 2 weeks.

So we're drafting now?


damn. . . I need help -- gonna be in DC for the week.   Who wants to help me out with texts / phone calls?  The only day I'll have trouble making picks is Wednesday during the afternoon and evening.

Just do your best. Wednesday maybe I can slow down the draft to one or two rounds...depending on how many picks you can make.

alright, printed off TBGs draft sheet.  i'll check the webs periodically today at work to get my picks in.

whats the stipulations for our starters this season?  4 IF/ 3 Of/1 C?

any stipulations for our bench guys?

Yes, same as last year. Your starting lineup shall have 4IF/3OF/1C and two SP's and two RP's. Your bench could be of any of the positions.

I had to drop my boy off at day-care and the roads were crap with the latest snow this morning, so I had a feeling you fuckers were ravenous with impatience, but I made it as quick as possible...I'll try to follow the thread all day and make my other pick as promptly as possible...good luck everyone...

darky whats the parameters for time length to make our picks?  2 hours?  like to know when im on the clock if TBG is still sleeping.

No time limit, I expect everybody to be responsible and to make their picks asap. TBG should make his pick when he awakes shortly. Ryno has indicated some concerns, so we know that. Otherwise, if anyone thinks they can take 1 full day to make their pick without notifying me of some problems, then I'll use my discretion if I decide to penalize the person---which could mean losing 1 or more spots in that particular round.
