Turd's RBI league question

When we begin drafting players should we assume its for this upcoming season only or are we doing a franchise type of league?  Just curious as it could effect some draft positions

First season is draft and play, no franchise stuff. I didn't want to get too cute season 1.  If all goes well, bells and whistles can be added (minor league callups,  more bench players, a full pitching rotation with players getting tired, etc).
