This matchup features perhaps the only two players in the RBIL who have played each other in person.  This time around, both parties were sober. 

Game 1

A clear night at Miller park, the Brewers had Harang on the mound.  The costly play in this game came about just when Harang showed his last signs of being able to throw in this game. There were 2 outs, 2 strikes, 2 men on base, and Joseph Votto was at the plate.  For some reason, Crew manager Turd left Harang in, hoping to squeeze out one more pitch from the gassed hurler instead of throwing a pitch from a fresh armed Clippard and getting out of the inning.  Instead, Harang gave up a 3-run blast, and the Crew couldn't recover.  The Mariners added another run late in the game to seal the deal, and the Crew lose game 1 4-0.

Game 2

The Crew was back for revenge this game and knocked in a run early in the 1st inning.  Determined not to go down that easy, the Mariners answered back early on with a run of their own.  The game stayed tied for a while, until Mcluth hit his 2nd blast of the season, while the Mariners answered back with a homer of their own.  The Crew was frustrated, as they know they have trouble coming back from a defecit, but their bullpen pitched a great game through the 9th inning with Soriano shutting down the Mariner's bats and giving them one last chance to pull ahead before going into extra innings.  The Brewer's Jose Lopez capitalized on a hanging fastball and hit the walk-off home run into the scoreboard against his real-life MLB team.  The Brewers took game 2 3-2 and split the series, putting them at 5-6 on the season, while the Mariners move to 1-5. This game also represents the first time Turd has ever beaten Bastardo in a game of RBI.
