This just in. The Brewers are incapable of sweeping.

In two well played games, the Crew split the series with the A's in some pretty good matchups.

Game 1
Tulow continued his hot streak, knocking in a 1 run blast while the A's answered back with a TonyCarlos Pena HR that occurred as a result of me nervously tapping the A button between innings. As the batters screen came into view, I watched in horror as I dropped a slow groover over the middle of the plate which Mr. Pena easily knocked out of the park.  I vowed not to lose because of a stupid controller mistake, and was able to sacrifice a run in later in the game to seal the win 2-1.  Harang pitched surprisingly well.

Game 2
This game was another well-fought one, but a little bit of speed helped the A's push in a run that might have otherwise not made it, along with a few stolen bases to advance the runners.  Game 1 the A's got thrown out on some silly poor base-running, but game 2 they ran smart, and went up 3-1 (the Crew's run coming off of a Lopez homer earlier on).  Gomes made it interesting in the 7th with a blast of his own, but the Crew knew they were done when their heavy hitters couldn't get it done in the 8th, and the A's split the series with a 3-2 win over the mediocre Brewers.  GG's Kahouty...
