Apparently each board only documents the last 18,984 topics to be created.  The oldest post on anything goes is dated 11/10/03.  I can't view any posts I made on anything goes that happened before that date.  it's like we're losing a part of history.  a pointless, pointless history, but history nonetheless.

Still looking into it, just the basics so far and I have zero clue.

Some things I've done:

* Changed themes, no help
* Database repair/scan, no help
* upgraded mysqll, no help
* Recounted & rebuilt all the forum statistics, no help

Good thing is that I can see the old messages in the db and can even search the forums and link to older topics, like so:

http://forums.dee-nee.com/index.php?topic=205.0

So no data is lost, AG board isn't displaying it for some reason.  Have to give a friend a ride shortly, so I'll have to check out when I get back, or if nightwulf beats me to it.

Changing the # of topics displayed also didn't help, going to bump up the 02 thread.

AAAND I'm an idiot...   that 2002 thread was bumped up in 2004, back to the messages table in the database to see if I can find an old one.

Created a new topic and the last one didn't disappear.  I'll have to check out the db to see if I could find something older still in there, maybe it got lost in the yabb -> smf upgrade and we never noticed.

Strassy or anyone - remember a topic name from 8 years ago that you can't find via search?  Will probably help...

The stuff is only missing from Anything Goes, RBI board seems fine.  Maybe everything old from AG has been bumped at some point?  I know I used to go to the last page and bump up the oldest thread.
