I dunno why, but this cracks me up.

Any chance Pat Sheridan went back in time?

That's a bad career, but still impressive that someone that didn't know how to Throw or Bat even made it to the big leagues.

Yeah, I had a similar thought about Marty Barrett:

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Wow... Between the two, I'd say Sheridan is the hands-down winner for the Sultan of Suck.

No hits, no walks, nothing. The guy apparently even played a whole game in left field without even TOUCHING the ball. That has to be the do-nothing record of all time.

There's a ton of guys who appeared in one game and then never played again.

I scrolled down that list and found a guy named Harvey Grubb - he appeared in one game, with no official AB, an OBP of 1.000, and no walks.  I believe that means that in his only major league plate appearance, he was hit by a pitch.

Baines

Something i thought was kind of funny was that there was not one HR in the whole group.  I guess if somebody hit a bomb, they'd at least get a shot in another game but there were guys with multi hit games and RBI's who never got in another one.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...
