ALCS Re-creation

[Big Apple RBI Champ]

Ryan Express and I played the LCS last night.  Living up to his dee-nee forum nickname, Mike Witt is the shit.  He threw a gem, going 8 1/3 innings, as the Angels beat the Twins 2-1 in Game 1.  Game 2 went to the Angels in a slaughter rule.  Ruppert set the tone leading off the game with a home run.

In the other series, the Giants swept the Cardinals.  Krukow threw a one-hitter.  Unfortunately the hit was a solo job by Jack Clark.  Like Bob Stanley, I think Don Robinson has underrated filthiness.  I go back and forth on Garrelts.  Sometimes he has a good fastball and splitter, but if he doesn't he gets racked.

Because I won both series, the finals were not played.
