Hey guys, just a heads up, I've started work on the 2016 ROM. I've got all the pitch speed and player data ready, so now it's a bit of a waiting game to make sure the lineups are a little more stable.  Go baseball!

I'm going through each team's outlook  1 by 1 on the facebook page:

I'll be sure to post here as always for lineup suggestions...

Turd, I see tecmobowlers is pre-selling Rbi 2016. Can I assume this is your rom?
Also, do you have rosters finalized yet? If so could you post them on this thread?
And BOOM goes the Dynamite!

Turd

Beat me to it.  Yes, and yes...rosters are attached.  I'll be doign tweaks and finalizing things very soon so get your opinions or fixes in asap!

BOS reliever has carson smith... he's out with injury, not that it matters, as I think the set-up person will be Koji Uehara anyway. I'm not sure if his numbers are as good as Smith but in RBI Uehara's nasty splitter might lend it self to a great "curve" rating. Your formula for players is really strong so i trust that implicitly. I just think that Uehara will be the set-up person more than Smith.

BOS lineup looks accurately constructed.

just my 2 cents

Thanks! I'll consider your expert opinion and sub out in for Koji.  I waffled back and forth on him anyways...

Twins' roster looks good.  Nitpicking...
- I'd probably put Santana as SP1, since he's getting the Opening Day nod.
- I'd weakly argue for Kyle Gibson over Hughes for SP2 since he had a much better year last year.  It's not a big deal; Hughes was much better in '14.
- I might also make an argument for Oswaldo Arcia over Danny Santana on the bench, although this is not a huge deal, as both were awful at both the majors and AAA last year and made the roster only because they were out of options.  Arcia has a good track record and quite a bit of power; Santana's success is based on speed and a year of lucky BABIP.

Coghlan doesn't play for cubs anymore.

For their bench I'd go

Soler
Baez
Ross
Kawasaki/lastella /szcur

Thanks guys, not sure how I missed that coghlan one.  I'll update these...

Tigers look good.  The only thing you could possibly consider would be replacing Collins with Saltalamacchia, but if all else is equal maybe stick with Collins.  WAY easier to fit his name into 6 letters.

Thanks for all you do.  Looking forward to it!

LOL, sometimes that's the deciding factor ;)

Did you happen to note the NEW changes to BOS lineup. I like yours better, but just yesterday the BoSOx announcd that Shaw will start at 3B over Sandoval, and Holt in RF over Castillo. While this comes from the BoSox manager & Brass my bet (just as a fan) is that Sandoval is starting at 3B by May unless Shaw goes bananas (or if Panda keeps hitting the buffets). They ned to showcase Panda to trade him. Castillo may well be traded too, but Holt isn't a good regualr player on a top team.

Sorry to waffle here, I just wanted to make sure you had the latest info. Frankly your current lineup for BOS may well be the lineup for the bulk of the season so maybe no need to change it. However if you wanted to be true to OD lineups (sans injuries) you may want to flip flop the players from starters to bench Shaw & Holt swap with Sandoval and Castillo, respectively.

I'm sure you already know but just in case, the 2016 ROM is live!: http://www.rbibaseball.us/

I've only played a couple games with the non-juiced version on my modded Wii U and I likey! I'm gonna try the juiced version this weekend. Thanks Turd!

Turd,

My three weeks of HELL at work are winding up and I'm gunning to fire up your ROM this weekend. I unzipped the file and noticed that you hadn't included the txt file with the player ratings. Is that something I could look at? Its my tease until I can get into a few game matches and get a sense how the teams are rated. I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes to nerd out over the ratings as I think about which players to call off the bench, which hitters to pitch around, etc. Anyway, if you don't mind sharing it on this page or on your rbibaseball.us site I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who appreciates it.
And BOOM goes the Dynamite!

Turd

Hey, been out of loop for a while.  Did you ever get this from the site?

VEGAS

Yes I got the Rom(s) though I wish I had more time to play them. That said I was never able to locate the text file with the player ratings. In past years that's been part of the zipped file. Could you add it to the zipped file on your site? Or post it in this thread?
And BOOM goes the Dynamite!

Turd

I'll throw that to ya. Shoot me an email to remove me me!

Anyone want to play a game? I'm down, working from home today...
