Not gonna lie, Raines was a surprise there.  People do have vastly different opinions on speed.

I remember taking Raines in the second round once and regretted it. He had a terrible season for a high round pick.

i was between rock & eric davis

raines was my best player last season. top 10 ops & very consistent for me. the diplomats wouldn't be rock city without him. plus he was a 2017 allstar*

My impression based on results has been that an all-speed guy simply doesn't hit enough to be worth much, but Raines combines it with enough power to be pretty valuable.
