I was going to update the ROM last night, but the RBI Central site wasn't loading.  I am going to try and update the ROM and sim all games tomorrow.

Started to sim a game, but somehow GDavis' lineup was fucked up with Santana hitting sixth even though the week 1 ROM obviously didn't have that.

My neighbor's stupid fucking dog is yapping through the wall nonstop like it's Kramer trying to get Joe DiMaggio's attention at Dinky Donuts and I have to go bartend at Rabbit's for some stupid reason in an hour and a half.

I'll try and do this again tomorrow.

Week 2: NY Douchebags at Geo Metros



Harry Spillman achieved a rare feat in this game - twice

Also, Spillman's season stats were swapped with Rafael Santana's season stats (which are actually nonexistent since he hasn't appeared in a game yet) because of the original lineup goof-up (I had Santana in Spillman's spot when I put in the stats for this week with the ROM).  That has already been fixed for week 3

Nice win by the Douchebags.  The lack of speed really showed there, and kept us from breaking things open.

I switched to FCuex for the next game. 

Good news: the video quality is normal. 

Bad news:  the file is massive for some reason.  I am uploading it to YouTube, but it's going to take a long time, and it looks like it got split into multiple parts. 

Even worse news:  The game involves Nacho's team, so I'm sure there will be a lot of complaining about how this isn't the easiest thing in the world to view. 

Slightly better news:  I am going to experiment with the encoding quality for future games to see if we can strike a balance.

Other kind of bad news:  I am leaving the house in a bit, so I'm not going to be able to finish the upload until I get home later.

At about the 15:04 mark, Spillman steps up with Armas at 3B. Spillman hits a deep fly ball to the wall and Armas is hosed on an incredible throw. 118 speed for you! I've never seen a player hosed from the RF wall!

Spillman and Arams are SO FUCKING SLOW.  I knew what I was getting into when I acquired them though - trading a few basepath outs for some more dingers.

Yeah, so this is annoying...but the only other solution would be to re-sim the game, and I want the sanctity of the experience to be intact

It encoded the avis in what they told me where the maximum quality.  Each of the seven files that the emulator created are over 2 gigabytes.
